Not sure how I missed this, but I'm assuming if I did, others might have too. John Pacchetti's RSSCalendar is free & in Beta - it lets users quickly setup online calendars that can be syndicated as RSS feeds. So you can:
Share your RSSCalendar in real-time with unlimited users
Create RSS feeds that show your calendar by day, week, or month
Invite individuals or groups to subscribe to your RSSCalendar Channel
Create events that your subscribers can import into MS Outlook (VCal)
Create events that your subscribers can import into other applications (ICal)
Bypass problems with firewalls and SPAM filters. Your schedule gets through.
NEW! - Publish your RSSCalendar to a website with just one line of code
This last feature is particularly useful - you can use it to publish course schedules, key dates and milestones to subject pages. It has obvious and exciting applications as both a collaborative working tool and as a class specific tool. Am definitely going to use this to demonstrate the usefulness of RSS in my upcoming workshop.
How about this new RSS application, RSSContact?
Chris.
