What a stupid title. Developed a "mixed bag" film which has given me some neat-o ideas for future projects after some stagnation with just taking pictures of friends...not a prob as such but they'd drifted into being just snaps really, which isn't wholly what I wanted to get back into film photography-wise - that's what my digi camera is for. That said there are some photos from the excellent Naylor birthday BBQ, but that's OK in moderation and really like some of the flash effects I managed to affect there (despite drunkenness). So here goes... Listen to the Butthole Surfers (something like "Too Parter" or "John E Smoke"), click individual pictures to enlarge.
Audrey Horne (as played by Sherilyn Fenn in 90s series Twin Peaks). I loved Audrey, she mixed everything from Jean Harlow to Ava Gardner to Audrey Hepburn, gorgeous, sexy, charming, funny, touching. There is a whole roll of Audrey pics to come at some point I feel. Very pleased with this photo off of the TV.
Rhi's Holga photographed by my Holga :)
Me n Rhi. Rubbish lining up...it's all done by eye you know, have now found most Holga users use a cable release and tripod/something solid to rest camera on for self portraits because the thing's so unwieldy to hold at arm's length and point in even the vaguest right direction.
Derelict/burned/abandoned buildings (and one still in use) in the Frog Island/Slater Street area, lots of interesting textures and features orphaned by time and neglect, again rich for more thorough photo-ing.
Pictures from Naylor's 41st BBQ. Good day n night, the fact I stayed sat on my arse for the last 6 hours of it meant the pictures were steady at least :). Limitations of flash shown in last pic of Richard and Claire, but otherwise some nice colour effects.
And finally Esther, some pictures of jelly (still need time and practice with focussing - it's very inconsistent). This one was Cherry and kirsche, which I was really looking forward to making from the time I read the recipe, but actually was a slight disappointment in both taste and texture (not very cherry-y, although it didn't taste unpleasant and a very odd texture - a bit more like jam than jelly really - weird) . Still looks nice though :)
Excellent, esp. Audrey and the jelly. Not a sentence I ever saw myself typing.

I like the abandoned buildings ones. Decrepid, barren, rotting, says something about the photographer perhaps? :-p
