I like that ^
Myself, Viraaj and Chris braved the doggers of nocturnal Bradgate Park to try to get some shots of the supermoon. It was a cloudy night so largely disappointing. That said more than happy with these pictures, and for the great evening out, laughing and experimenting with the Holga in great company (not the doggers). Thanks for the lift Chris, and company from you and Viraaj. Click to enlarge
It was so cloudy we soon gave up on the moon so lit Old John with smartphone "torches". This was a 2-3 minute exp.
Similar exp, different site
Lit the tower doorway and photo'd from a distance (100 sec exp)
Continued around the tower and went for the moon. Niiiice. 3 min approx exposure.
Out of sequence here as phones still lighting. Again 3 min exp.
Chris and Viraaj (hatted) look over the twinkling city. Nice halo crease above the head (I could not spool it...)
Very blurry loooooong exposure (about 6 mins) of moon above rocky outcrop. Shame I was shaking by then (it was q cold). Also film creased loading.
3-4 min exp of tower and moon
Later, near the Walker's Crisps factory in Beaumont Leys, it got clearer, so ogt this 1-2 sec exposure of moon thru tree. (some film damage loading - I was in another foul mood)
Also 2 blank shots where I didn't expose for long enough (Matron! I wimped out after a few seconds. I'm making this worse eh?). Anyway, pleased with some of these.
