Ali (Geordie) is a train buff and he managed to persuade us on an outing on the steam train to Blue Anchor from Minehead. Quite merry, took the camera and these are the results (and some others). Not in any order due to indifference, maybe these are more interest to those that were there, but I like their general tone and colour. Listen to something old and bluesy while looking at them, click to enlarge individual pics:
Heading for the train Lord Ford photographs me photo-ing him
Beachfront, messing about
Fruit Shaft...fnuuuurp
A boy (man) and his train. Nice.
Flowers, very pleased with this one.
Coastal view from the train (with steam!!!!)
Blue Anchor bay (FOCUS!)
Dunster (castle on hilltop) - someone important was imprisoned there according to the Doctor's forthcoming book ("Popular Politics" available from all good booksellers)
Me looking pained - it was deffo more than 10 minutes from station to pub. Lovely scrumpy once there though :)
Favourite picture of the weekend. Sounds like a nice addition to the breakfast menu for December?
Horrible smelly men and their beer and cider. Terribly unflattering to Naylor.
Papers. Hangovers...
John awaits the morning Welsh delivery :)
Mr Naylor gets all domestic on our ass (double exp too :))
Lone Geordie yearns for trains for steam action
Arm wrestling machine, photographed entirely because the "arm" bit is where his cock should be. Childish...but great!
Myself and the Ford Lord watching some band (no idea which, maybe Eric Copeland though then I'd surely have looked more impressed). How did I surprise myself when I took the photo?
Long exp of the excellent Meat Puppets, taken above my head as I'm so stumpy so hence they're not central which adds to the charm :-s (I remember listening to them with John Preston up in Sheff back in the day - seems a long time ago and looking at the bassist it obviously was).
So there 'tis.
I like flowers and you and Lord Ford.
I love me.
