Not that any of you are interested, but the cycling season is getting back into full swing. We've already had the Tour Down Under, the Tour of Qatar and the Tour of Langkawi come and go, and currently under way is the Vuelta a Mallorca. Brrrrr fair play must be hard work racing in these temperatures I thought, then found out it's about 16 degrees Celsius in Mallorca at the mo' so that's nice.
Also the newly Discovery-ed Ivan Basso has returned from his tete a tete with Lance, as seen in this clip off of Eurosport he "hopes the 6000km (3750 miles I think) he has covered in the last 14 days" will put him in good shape. Bloody hell, I don't work enough. he does look good on a bike though, even free wheeling.
Basso is poised to have a great year. The problem is my girlfriend agrees with you and even thinks he looks good off the bike too :)

Yeah Basso will probably dominate all he enters for my money. That said I can't escape the creeping "dirty" feeling around the Operation Fuentes stuff.
Re. his aesthetic pleasing-ness, well it does make a change having a figurehead who doesn't look like some kind of genetic experiment. I'd take it as a compliment mate (she fancies you and him so you obviously look and perform like him), thanks for dropping by, I'll try and keep up some ill-informed cycling rubbish for most big events.
